2. General information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website and to communicate with you. We do not use any analytics or tracking tools, advertising cookies or social media plugins.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated by an external hosting provider based in the EU, with whom a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. When you visit the website, the server automatically stores information in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the previously visited page (referrer), browser type and operating system. This data is used to provide the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for this purpose. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the EU.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

5. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies, for example to store the language you have selected. These cookies are required to provide the website (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and do not require consent.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other third parties.

7. Contacting us by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, company, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under the German Commercial Code or Fiscal Code) apply.

Providing your data is neither required by law nor by contract; however, without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). To exercise these rights, please contact info@possin-industry.com.

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

9. Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
